Wallhangings

Made this one last year when my workroom was being built

Made this about 5years ago, fascinated me, empty boxes

On my first quilt tour to America we visited a quilt group in Indiana and they gave each one of us a bag with fabric to make a friendship star wallhanging and they all signed a piece of calico with their names which I cut up and dotted about the quilt

Norman's Lapquilt

Sat in the garden today and finished the

binding on Norman's quilt (Norman being a friend of my mother)

The quilt pattern is Scrappy Mountain and was made entirely

from fabric in my stash, really quick and easy to do, the back is

patched with what was left over from the front

Wallhangings

Two wallhangings designed by Pat Archibald, the top one with Celtic design I did at a workshop

with her, most enjoyable day, the gold was a technique using foil, very interesting. The Poppy one is one she had in a magazine, I really do enjoy doing her patterns

Empty space

Empty space where my embroidery machine should be hope it won't be long before I get it back. Some of the Sweetpea blocks I got done before it threw a wobbly

Am feeling quite fraught at the moment Diana is sending me lessons for the day, which is good making me learn things on the computer but I cannot keep up at the moment ( suppose she will give me a Hundred lines)
Now my embroidery machine has thrown a wobbly and won't work has to go to the machine hospital but will give me time to do some patchwork and Diana's homework

Addicted

Have been busy this afternoon on my embroidery machine doing the sweetpea blocks, am absolutely addicted thanks to friends Christine and Diana hope one of them will phone me tonight and tell me it's time to go to bed. Pictures of the blocks to follow another day.

Had private tutor lesson today for computer and constructing a blog, think teacher is quite exasperated!!!!!
