Last 2 prezzies made

That's it, the last 2 christmas prezzies made and these bags are super and so quick to make, thanks Diana for the pattern.  Well, Xmas is only a week away now and I have quite a busy week coming up, Higham Piecemakers Monday pm. Hamtune Xmas Party Tuesday evening and Parkland Patchers Wednesday morning then off over to Suffolk Wednesday afternoon to see my family, if any of my friends have nothing to do you could come and do my housework!!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL....

House Groups Xmas Coffee Meeting

Yesterday our House Group had it's annual xmas coffee morning at Beckworths.  The group started in 2001 when I went on a tour in America to the Paducah Quilt Show and various other places. I was paired up with Kathy Lee as we were both on our own, what a fab time we had and became good friends so when we got home decided to meet up about once a month, after a couple of meets Margaret Hill joined us as she lived just down the road from me and was a quilter, couple of years later Margaret Williams, who did not do patchwork but was so keen to learn joined us and has done some fantastic work since then when Helen Spence retired from her job she joined the group and then along came Ann Harris.  We still meet up up every 4 to six weeks and whosever house we meet in that person does a lunch and we have some lovely lunches and great days, chatting, we have all heard how our families have got on over the years, we even do a bit of sewing and are there to help each other with our projects. So a Very Merry Xmas Girls and a H|appy New Year will miss the January meeting as I shall be in Spain but will be thinking of you all.

homemade Selection boxes

today after housework and shopping I took all my xmas fabric scraps and cut them into 21/2" squares then dumped what I didn't want and packed all xmas stuff away till nxt year. Then I made two homemade selection packages for the grandkids and am so pleased with them. This was not my idea, Linda Eggleton made some for her grandkids and put the pics on facebook so I just copied it.

Two more deccies I have made this afternoon, from someone who gave up making xmas items 3 years ago, but I have enjoyed making them. A certain person will have a fit that I have blogged 2days running !!!!

I am still here

getting lots of grief via e.mails from a certain person, you know who you are Mrs G, Anyway I am still here and have been doing lots and keep meaning to update my blog, but, well you know how time runns away. I have been doing lots of Xmas decorations for the tree and the 25 days of Xmas I have done two sets also several presents and cushions, I am also working on my flower quilt and the top is almost finished so all in all I have not really had time to blog cause had to go on holiday a couple of times as well !!!
  Would just like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (I might blog again before then)
